Party announcements
You can also announce your party to us ahead of time and this information will be posted to the party page. Simply send an email to the webmaster with the subject "Party announcements".

Shopping
To see places to shop, withdraw money, make copies, etc, see our extensive Resource List (RTF format – my thanks to Menolly and her team who are still verifying things on the list, with problem entries in red).

Ice
I will make another announcement on this in a few days, but for now this is the situation. We intend to supply all interested parties with ice at a reasonable rates, probably more reasonable than any other option out there because the delivery cost will be shared. We will be using Orange County Ice who are close to the party hotel and come highly recommended. The price will most likely be $10 per 50 gallon bag of ice cubes (their base price plus taxes plus a share of the delivery cost), though there is a small chance that we may tack on a dollar or two on to that to have a couple of spare bags for insurance, and some cash for a tip as delivery could be a challenge. We may be able to deliver to the suites, more on that later, but otherwise pickup will be at the dock.

At con you will need to sign up at the con office, preferably well ahead of time, and pay cash up front. Yes, you will be able to do this days in advance, and in fact we'd prefer this. Due to OCI's delivery schedule daily ordering will close at 2pm and delivery will be at 6pm. It will be up to you to ensure that someone is on hand to accept your delivery, or that someone will be able to pick it up. Remember that 50 pounds is a tad cumbersome.

Most small parties with just sodas and the like will be okay with a single bag and comfortable with two. At cheap prices like these over-catering may be better than having too little, but remember that you will need to have the space for it and a bathtub can only hold so much ice.

Alternatively you will be able to get ice yourself howsoever you choose, with the Resource List being a great place to find other options.
